Hello new followers! Please enjoy these images of a Hawaiian brown slipper lobster (Parribacus antarcticus) also known as the “sculptured mitten lobster” or the sea cockroach. Nocturnal creatures, they live in crevices of stone or coral reefs along the western coast of the Atlantic ocean, the southern coast of Africa, and in Hawaii and Polynesia.  They are supposed to taste excellent, but are considered too small to be of commercial interest. It looks too close to my oven mitt with eyes anyway.
